Belleza Efímera

I am inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the notion of beauty as an ephemeral situation to be enjoyed while it lasts.

The choice of using the wateriness of the material seeks to soften the painting and its image, understanding that permanence is ephemeral. In this context, the fluidity of the water not only seeks to capture the transience of the cherry blossom, but also to highlight the transience of beauty itself. The work becomes an instant frozen in time, reminding us of the importance of appreciating the ephemeral but striking beauty that nature offers us.
