Bomareas are a genus of plants belonging to the Alstroemeriaceae family, best known for their colorful flowers.
In Colombia, these plants are native and can be found in various regions that are distributed in mountainous areas, rainforests and moorlands.
In this work I wanted to focus on the wonder of its bejuco (a word also very striking and native to our Taino), being a climbing plant that is characterized by having long flexible and thin stems that are used to cling and grow!
